NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL FOR THE GHANA MEDICAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE PERIOD 2009-2011

This is to inform you that at the elections held during the 51st Annual General Meeting of the Ghana Medical Association held in Tamale at the Radach Memorial Conference Centre, from November 3-8, 2009, members of the National Executive Committee had a renewed mandate to serve a two year tenure from 2009– 2011.

	Dr. Emmanuel Adom Winful - PRESIDENT (Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital, Akwapim, Mampong) at the University of Ghana Dental School, Korle-Bu was elected the new PRESIDENT.
Other members elected onto the new Council are as follows:
	Dr. Kwabena Opoku-Adusei - VICE PRESIDENT (Medical Superintendent, Suntreso Government Hospital, Kumasi)
	Dr. Sodzi Sodzi-Tettey - GENERAL SECRETARY (National Catholic Secretariat, Accra)
	Dr. Frank Serebour - ASSISTANT GENERAL (Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi) SECRETARY
	Dr. Mary Amoakoh-Coleman - TREASURER (Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra)
	ACP/Dr. Ebenezer Ewusi-Emmim - NON OFFICE HOLDER - (MALE) (Police Hospital, Cantonments, Accra)

Dr. Francis Adu-Ababio retains his position as the Immediate Past President of the Association and a member of the National Executive Committee.
