The GMA Council has been aware of your anxieties concerning the undue delay in the acquisition process and subsequent registration of indentures for land acquired in 1999/2000. You will recall that in 1999, the leadership of the GMA initiated moves to secure lands for its members at the Power Village/ Frafraha near Adenta, from Sandplex Limited. This was in its attempts to promote the welfare of members. Unfortunately the Association’s attempt to finalize the process of acquisition and registration have been hampered by litigation between Sandplex Limited and Black Cattle Farms / Lakesides Estate-Agric Cattle Ltd (a forerunner Company of Japan Motors). more....
